Kim is a ceramicist based in San Francisco who fell in love with clay back in March of 2022. She has dedicated herself to mastering the fundamentals of good tableware, ensuring that each piece she creates is not only visually appealing and enjoyable to use, but also practical and durable for everyday use.

She draws inspiration from the organic forms of the earth, incorporating them into her designs and showcasing the natural beauty of clay. The majority of her creations are made to blend into your home and to add a touch of elegance and simplicity. The rest of her work is comprised of her “play” and experimentation as she explores the endless possibilities in clay. 

 

Where to find the work: 

As part of a vibrant community studio with communal firings, her work is released in small, carefully curated batches. You can find her work online or at craft fairs in the Bay Area.
